Measured Progress and MetaMetrics are linking MetaMetrics’s Lexile Framework® for Reading and Quantile Framework® for Mathematics to Measured Progress’s Progress Toward Standards Online Assessment (PTS3).

We are recruiting schools across the nation to participate in a study to link students’ reading and mathematics performance on PTS3 to specially scaled tests developed by MetaMetrics.

Can you help us?

We need to recruit 2,000 students per grade and content area in grades three through eight plus ten. Schools will be added on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schools need to meet specific technical requirements to participate. See more information on these requirements.

How will your school benefit?

You will receive:

• $3 for each student tested
• fifteen library books
• an administration of PTS3 and its associated MetaMetrics test
• instant student and class reports, including Lexile and Quantile scores
• training to use Lexile and Quantile scores to improve instruction

Each student must take either two online reading or math assessments. The testing window is from October 1, 2008 to November 15, 2008.
