Office of Inclusive Educational AssessmentThe Office of Inclusive Educational Assessment sponsors and conducts research on the technical characteristics and impact of all forms of K12 student assessment, as well as on improving assessment systems for the purposes of accountability and increased understanding of student learning. Measured Progress and the Office are eager to participate in studies that validate and extend the work of assessment research through individual contracts, collaboratives, and grant opportunities. The Office of Inclusive Educational Assessment has a strong interest in improving educational opportunities and achievement of students with disabilities, English language learners, students "in the gap," and other at-risk students. It conducts studies and develops resources to be shared with the field on topics such as accommodations, universal design, alternate assessment, Web-based testing, reporting strategies, and psychometric models. Center staff members participate in federal research grants, publish research papers and articles, and regularly present at national conferences.
