Measured Progress is responsible for item development, test construction, facilitation of new item review and data review committees, and ancillary test material production for the Georgia High School Graduation Tests. Each spring, approximately 96,000 students in grade 11 take the tests for the first time. These tests cover English language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. In addition, students have the opportunity to retest in the summer, fall, and winter.

This project includes the development and administration of Opportunity to Learn surveys for the Georgia Department of Education. Measured Progress also assists Georgia with item alignment and validation, as well as item bank replenishment and maintenance.

In addition, Measured Progress provides services for the Georgia End of Course Tests, including item development (for summative and interim assessments), data and item review, test construction, alignment studies, and production of all content-related ancillary materials. This assessment covers eight content areas in four subjects and is administered in grades nine through twelve. The EOCT is administered in winter, spring, and summer, with mid-month, online administrations occurring six times a year. Approximately 800,000 students take the End of Course Tests each year.
