Grade 4 Mathematics Item

Following is an example of a grade-four mathematics item from the 2002 Maine Educational Assessment that the Maine Department of Education has made available on its Web site. This item measures Maine's Measurement standard. Included with this item are the related Maine standard, the scoring guide, training notes for the guide, and representative student responses at each score point.
