Research Framework - Scoring and Reporting
Score Reports and Interpretive Guides
This research area focuses on the design and development of written score reports and the accompanying interpretive guides that are given to students, teachers, and administrators. Examples here include decisions about which and how many statistics to report, how to describe the interpretation of the statistics, and the design layout of the information. This research area has a strong interaction with all the other scoring and reporting research areas. Not only do the score reports depend on results from the other areas, but the needs of this area drive new research in the other areas.
